UPDATE AT 5:00 P.M., JULY 9 (WZZM) -- Montcalm County deputies are releasing the name of a teenager run over by a car last week.
Mariah Coral Kohn, 19, was killed in the Friday accident on M-46 in Howard City.
REYNOLDS TWP., Mich. (WZZM) - A 19-year-old woman from Howard City died this morning after being run over by a vehicle Friday morning.
Montcalm County Sheriff's Deputies say that witnesses tell them that the woman was lying partially on M-46 near Edgar Road when a westbound vehicle ran over her. At least one other vehicle had narrowly missed the woman.
The driver of the vehicle is a 56-year-old Edmore man who deputies say had not been drinking. They say speed was not a factor in the crash.
Deputies are asking that anyone who may have seen a pedestrian in the area of the M-46 truck stop around 5:30 Friday morning to call them at 989-831-7590 or 989-831-7593.
The woman's name is being withheld until family members are notified.
