HASTINGS, Mich. (WZZM) -- An inmate at the Barry County Jail is accused of trying to arrange to have someone to commit an assault.
Undersheriff Robert Baker says Carlton V. Adams appeared in court Tuesday. Adams accused of soliciting someone to commit "assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than the crime of murder."
The undersheriff was not available for infomation on the case Tuesday.
Adams is still being held in the jail on a $150,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court again on July 25.
