GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - A Grand Rapids man who bit off part of a woman's nose earlier this year will spend one year in jail.
Wednesday, a judge sentenced Stephen Medawis, 56, for the January attack at an apartment on Fifth Street NW. The attack apparently stemmed from an argument between Medawis and Polly Snyder.
Snyder has since had reconstructive surgery on her nose.
