GRAND RAPIDS & MUSKEGON, ROCKFORD, Mich. (WZZM)- There were a number of accidents on West Michigan roads overnight.
At midnight, a car struck a Grand Rapids city truck at College and Leonard. Police say the driver of the car didn't see the truck and ran right into it. No one was hurt.
Grand Rapids Police are investigating a crash that happened at Jefferson Avenue & Pleasant at 2 a.m. Saturday. That's when the driver of a Chevy SVU ran through the stop sign, hit a van and rolled over. The driver of the van had to be extricated but sustained only minor injuries. Police say the driver and passengers inside the SUV ran from the scene shortly after the crash.
Around the same time, four men were injure after their SUV flipped on 13 Mile and Northland Drive, near Rockford. Kent County Deputies say the vehicle crossed the intersection and flipped on its side. The four men sustained non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is still not known.
And finally, Muskegon Police are investigating a crash that closed the northbound lanes of US-31 at Laketon Avenue for a few hours Saturday morning. They say a pedestrian was trying to cross the highway when he was hit. His condition is not known. But all lanes were reopened shortly before 3 a.m.
