Grand Rapids Fire Department responding to a suspicious situation in downtown Grand Rapids.
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- The Grand Rapids Fire Department was called to downtown Grand Rapids midday Friday for a suspicious situation.
The fire trucks and firefighters went to the intersection of Fulton and Division. They went into the area of the building that houses the Michigan Secretary of State's office and U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Grand Rapids Police say the incident appeared to be a minor situation that was under control.
Firefighters left the scene shortly before 1:00 pm Friday.
