GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Grand Rapids Police have arrested a teenager for the murder of a man earlier this month.

On August 3, Tavon Jackson, 20, was shot several times outside a house on Andre Street SW. The shooting happened in broad daylight, around 3:30 in the afternoon. Tavon was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers arrested Edmond Dawan Nevills, 16, Thursday. He was charged Friday with open murder.
