Two vehicle accident, 28th Street and Eastern Ave. SE.
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - A major intersection in Grand Rapids was closed for several hours Monday morning after an accident.
The crash between a Mercury Sable station wagon and a Oven Fresh bread truck happened at the intersection of 28th street and Eastern Avenue shortly before 5:00 a.m.
Police closed 28th Street from Kalamazoo to Madison Avenues, and Eastern from Alger to 32nd Street, while the accident is being investigated.
One person suffered critical injuries in the accident.
