Robin Roberts' health highlights need for minority donations

(WZZM) - Good Morning America's Robin Roberts is on medical leave as she prepares to go through a bone marrow transplant. She was diagnosed with MDS, a rare bone marrow condition that was a result of her intense treatments for breast cancer.

Robin's need of a bone marrow transplant has brought attention to the need for minority donations. WZZM 13 health reporter Valerie Lego takes a closer look at why most bone marrow matches must come from the same race.
