GOBLES, Mich. (WZZM)- Three people are under arrest after a meth-lab explodion at a home in Van Buren County.
The sheriff's department says it started when two of the suspects purchased meth lab components on September 3. As they were attempting to manufacture methamphetamine, the pot exploded and one of them was burned.
A female at the home on Homewood Drive in Gobles took the victim to the hospital in Paw Paw. She offered no explanation as to how the man's injuries occurred. He was later airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. An investigation later determined that the burns were caused by a meth-lab explosion.
A 56-year-old man, 60-year-old man, and 42-year-old woman were arrested and could be charged with operating a methamphetamine lab and maintaining a drug house.
