Grand Rapids, Mich. (WZZM) You might have seen a lot of people around Grand Rapids today out armed with brooms sweeping sidewalks, washing windows and pulling weeds.

 Its all part of the United Way's Annual Day of Caring.  More than 1,000 volunteers were out today donating time around Kent County.  Many of them could be seen around the downtown area  helping beautify neighbhorhoods in advance of ArtPrize.

If you're interested in volunteering for an organization in the future, the United Way is always looking for people willing to help area non-profit organizations.
