GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Grand Rapids Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with the sexual assault of a woman Monday night. A 21-year-old woman reported she was walking in the area of Valley Avenue and Fulton Street NW when two men assaulted her around 9:30 p.m.
Police interviewed the woman at the hospital, however the extent of her injuries was not released. The woman is a student at GVSU.
Friday, police arrested two boys, ages 14 and 16. Both are from Grand Rapids. The suspects are being held on charges of criminal sexual conduct and unarmed robbery. The case is being sent to the Kent County Prosecutor's Office for review.
The arrests came after police released descriptions of the suspects and a composite drawing.
