Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Dewayne Wise drove in two runs as the Chicago White Sox edged the Detroit Tigers, 5-4, in a makeup of a game that was postponed last Thursday.
Dayan Viciedo and Gordon Beckham added an RBI each for the White Sox, who have won four in a row and increased their lead in the AL Central to three games over their Monday foes.
Nate Jones (8-0) worked 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief, allowing one hit and fanning two.
Prince Fielder posted two hits and three RBI for the Tigers, who have dropped two in a row after winning four straight.
Doug Fister (9-9) worked four-plus frames in defeat, charged with eight hits and five runs -- four earned.
