(WZZM) - If you think East Grand Rapids seems like a pretty nice place, you aren't alone.

Coldwell Banker Real Estate has ranked the hometown of President Gerald R. Ford at the 8th "Best Place to Live for Suburbanites" out of 11,000 suburbs nationwide.  The ranking is based on things like access to grocery stores and banks, proximity to good schools, traffic and community safety.

Cherry Hills Village, Colorado is #1.  East Grand Rapids is the top Michigan listing, narrowly edging out Huntington Woods which comes in 10th on the overall list.
