GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Grand Rapids Police say they've arrested two men in the death of a longtime Grand Valley State University student adviser whose body was found at a home last month. Grand Rapids investigators and an FBI task force arrested two 24-year-old Grand Rapids men on Tuesday in the death of Santiago Zapata, 50. Zapata's body was found inside his home on Myrtle NW on September 25. Names weren't immediately released, pending formal charges from the Kent County prosecutor's office. Police have said that "traumatic injuries" led to Zapata's death and his vehicle initially was missing. That vehicle later was found by police. Grand Valley State University says Zapata was a 19-year employee with its education college. He was the first of 10 children in a migrant family to attend college.
