SHERIDAN, Mich. (WZZM) - An investigation is underway after Montcalm County animal control officers rescued 52 dogs from a Sheridan area home.
An animal control officer says employees took the dogs from a home in the 4500 block of S. Sheridan Rd. Monday.
They remain at the Montcalm County Animal Shelter in Stanton, where they will be evaluated by a veterinarian.
The animal control officer says prosecutors are trying to determine if their owner will face charges.
