HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM)- A popular Grand Rapids Yoga Studio is expanding to the Lakeshore.
The Funky Buddha Yoga Hothouse in Grand Rapids will celebrate it's two year anniversary on December 1st by opening a new studio in Holland.
The hot yoga facility will have the same look and offer similar classes. Instructors say when a room is heated to 95 degrees, it allows ones muscles to get into poses easier.
It will be the sole yoga studio in the Holland area. Yoga Director Larissa Link explains, "If you have a membership at one studio you can go to both. We were talking how perfect that is or summertime for Grand Rapids. They can come here, take a yoga class, and go to the lake and vice versa. People who live here in Holland, if they take a trip to the city, you can go o both studios.
