WALKER, Mich. (WZZM) The West Michigan Trails and Greenways Coalition dedicated a new park in the honor of Grand Rapids merchant, Fred Meijer.
A ceremony for "Fred Meijer Memorial Park" was held this Monday morning at Meijer Corporate Headquarters in Walker.
The park intersects with one of the trails named after Fred Meijer.
There are now more than 1,100 Meijer Trails throughout West Michigan spanning more than 250-miles.
