GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Two men accused of killing a Grand Valley State University counselor were in court Wednesday morning for their preliminary hearing.

Timothy Miller and Maceo Scott, both 24, are accused in killing Santiago Zapata in September.

In court, details about the crime were revealed, including that Miller had previously been a house guest of Zapata.  Both men claimed they were intending to rob the counselor.

The judge ruled there was enough evidence and the case has been bound over for trial.
