DETROIT (WZZM) -- A Detroit landmark is all dressed up for the start of the World Series Wednesday.
With "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" playing in the background, workers slipped a giant Tigers jersey onto the "Spirt of Detroit" statue.
The jersey is custom made, measuring 16 feet in length and 12 feet in width.
The Detroit Institute of Arts is also showing its team spirit by lighting its exterior in orange and blue throughout the duration of the series.
