HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) -- Police are trying to determine if the attempted arson of a home, involving someone throwing Molotov cocktails at the house, is gang related.
The incident happened around 5:50 a.m. Wednesday at a home on West 17th Street in Holland.
The residents of the home reported a fire-starting device like a Molotov cocktail -- or fire bomb -- was thrown at the house, breaking a window. Officers found evidence that three similar devices were also thrown at the house, though they did not ignite.
Police say four people were inside the home at the time of the incident, including a nine-year-old girl. No one was hurt.
