MONTCALM TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Approximately 575 Consumers Energy customers are without power due to an outage Monday night.
The outage north of Greenville started around 6:15 p.m. Monday. It is centered around the intersection of West Sidney Road and M-91 in Montcalm Township.
A spokesman for the utility says the outage was caused by a traffic accident where a vehicle hit a pole.
The Consumers Energy website says a crew is working to restore power. Customers are expected around 9 p.m. Monday.
