Public Museum to host a Titanic tribute night
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- This week, the Grand Rapids Public Museum will be hosting a special event paying tribute to the Titanic.
Kate Moore, Director of Marketing and Public Relations and Wendy Batchelder, Costume Interpretation stopped by our studios with a preview.
The event on February 21st, a cocktail hour starts the festivities, followed by a tapas-style strolling dinner. Items from first, second and third class menus from Titanic will be served including: Atlantic salmon with mousseline sauce, roasted squab with plum sauce and watercress, mini rabbit pie with wild mushrooms and cider, and Waldorf pudding with apples and walnuts - to name a few.
