GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - While anticipation grows about the upcoming opening of the new Cabela's store in Grandville, don't be surprised to see more Cabela's in the state. That word Tuesday from Cabela's real estate manager Gary Rimington. He spoke at a commercial real estate conference, the ICSC Alliance Program.
Rimington says Cabela's is having success with its smaller "outpost" stores that are about 40,000 square feet.
"Michigan is not tapped out, I think there's an opportunity for one or two more outpost stores in the northern part of the state in the very near future," Rimington said.
The store opening March 21 in Grandville is about 90,000 square feet.
