GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)-A Grand Rapids infant who may have consumed cocaine is staying with workers from Child Protective Services.
CPS called police to the 800 block of Franklin Street SE around 12:30 Saturday afternoon, after getting a call that an infant may have consumed cocaine. According to a police report, an adult was doing drugs when the infant put a piece of crack cocaine in its mouth. Police say they also found urine and feces-covered blankets in the home.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital for medical tests.
Officers arrested one person for creating a disturbance while they were at the home. Police say the case will likely be forwarded to the prosecutor's office to determine if charges are warranted.
