"Superman - Bullion" (1942) Directed by Dave Fleischer, with the voices of Bud Collyer and Joan Alexander. Very fine animation is used to tell short tales of Superman in his relentless war against crime. While he is performing the job of crime buster he must also continue to pull Lois Lane's irons out of the fire as he does in this story about a major train robbery.
"Tales of Hoffman" (1951) Directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, with Moira Shearer and Robert Rounseville. This film is a wonderful combination of music, dance and the cinema as Jacques Offenbach's opera is brought to the screen. It is said that this film had a major impact on such filmmakers as George Romero and Martin Scorsese.
"The Naked Prey" (1966) Directed by Cornell Wilde, with Cornell Wilde and Ken Gampu. The leader of an African safari runs afoul of a tribe when one of the men on the safari commits an imprudent act against a member of the tribe. The safari leader is giver a short head start and he must try to outrun some of the men of the tribe who will kill him if they catch up with him. This is a movie of high adventure.
