Twenty-four days were colder than usual, five were warmer, and two were considered average. The highest temperature occurred on March 30 with 56°F while the lowest temperature occurred on March 4 and 20 with 11°F.
Precipitation was well-below average last month measuring 0.94", 1.43" less than usual, making it the eighth driest March on record (based on data from 1870-2013), and 2.20" less than last year (3.14"). There were eleven days with measurable precipitation, one day less than average (12).
