BELDING (THE DAILY NEWS) - Tammy McAllister recently enjoyed a visit with her son, Jonathon Bodman, his fiancée and their young son.
McAllister didn't know it would be the last time she would see Bodman alive.
Bodman, 31, of Orleans, was found by a group of children Friday night near a walking path that traverses the woods between the Jaclyn apartment complex and the Brentwood apartment complex on the northwest side of Belding. Bodman may have been dead for two of three days before he was found, according to Belding Police Chief Dale Nelson.
McAllister said police have not been able to tell her much about the cause of Bodman's death as they await the results of Bodman's autopsy and toxicology report.
"They do not suspect foul play," she said.
