HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- An elderly driver had minor injuries after an accident sent her vehicle plowing through a yard and into a house.
The crash happened around noon Wednesday on 112th Avenue and Quincy Street.
Ottawa County Sheriff's say Marilyn Hulst, 71, of Holland Township stopped at the intersection but then pulled in front of an oncoming vehicle.
Hulst's vehicle was struck and careened off the road, through a ditch, and 175 feet across a yard and into a house.
Hulst was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The other driver, James Jurries, 72, of Park Township refused medical care. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelt.
