HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WZZM)-A man is facing charges in connection with two business break-ins in Hudsonville.
Kendall Ray Samuels, 20, faces felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon, unlawful driving away of a vehicle and burglary of a business. He's being held in the Ottawa County Jail without bond.
Deputies believe Samuels broke into Creekside Auto Friday, September 27. Deputies say the intruder entered through a rear window and took cash and a handgun from the business. While investigating the crime, deputies found out S and S Auto had also been burglarized, and the suspect had stolen a 2006 Chevy pick-up truck from the business.
The night after, deputies spotted the stolen pick-up truck behind the old Kmart store on Chicago Drive in Georgetown Township. The suspect in the pick-up truck ran from the scene.
Deputies identified the suspect as Samuels. On Sunday, they found him at a friend's home at Presidential Estates Mobile Home Park. Samuels was arrested without incident.
