BLOOMINGDALE, Mich. (WZZM) - Authorities in Van Buren County say they've captured a parolee missing since he removed his electronic tether on Wednesday.
Michael Loren Warner was on parole for home invasion and had made statements about being a danger to himself.
The Van Buren County Sheriff's Department tells WZZM that a resident in the township called police having seen Warner and that he had stolen an ATV, some guns, and camouflage. The witness followed him to 14th Avenue and 41st Street where Warner reportedly went off the road.
Authorities say Swat members from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office proceeded back to this location on ATV's, secured this area for K-9 units from Van Buren County, Michigan State Police and South Haven Police to enter and begin to track the suspect.
Warner was eventually found hiding behind a 'false wall' in an outbuilding in the 10000 block of 41st Street and was taken into custody.
He's being held at the Van Buren County Jail.
