GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Because of the government shutdown, a number of computers are stuck inside the Ford Museum.
Grandville-based Trivalent provided the laptops for ArtPrize. They were used for voter registration and for people to vote during ArtPrize.
Because of the government shutdown, the museum doors were shut with the computers still inside.
"I don't think any of us thought or even realized we would be affected with the Ford because so many of us thought it was a privately held museum," said Dawn Simpson of the Trivalent Group.
Trivalent provided the computers through a partnership with HP. When the shutdown ends and the museum opens, Trivalent will send the computers back to HP.
