GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- The White House National Security official fired for making anonymous tweets mocking members of President Obama's administration is a former Muskegon resident.
Jofi Joseph was on the National Security Council staff and was involved in nuclear negotiations with Iran.
Joseph says he takes "complete responsibility" for the @NatSecWonk Twitter account, which often criticized administration policies and top officials.
The Muskegon Chronicle is reporting Joseph was valedictorian of Muskegon Catholic Central High School's 1990 graduating class. His family moved to Muskegon when he was six months old.
