Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers recalled pitcher Mark Lowe
from Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday.
Lowe appeared in four games earlies this season for Texas and gave up four
runs and seven hits over 2 2/3 innings.
The six-year veteran has a 4,23 ERA with a 5-15 record over 169 games with
Seattle and Texas.
To make room on the roster, the team optioned pitcher Pedro Strop to Round
Rock.
Also on Wednesday, Texas sent right-handed pitchers Neftali Feliz and Tommy
Hunter on rehab assignment to Double-A Frisco of the Texas League.
