GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- One of the men officiating Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis is a Grand Rapids man.
Carl Paganelli Jr. will be on the seven-man officiating crew for Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants.
Paganelli is not allowed to talk to the media before Sunday's game, but his wife Cathy and their two daughters, Carley and Chrysta, spoke to WZZM 13's Juliet Dragos from Indianapolis via Skype.
You can see the interview in the video box on this web page.
Paganelli will be calling his third Super Bowl. His two brothers are also NFL officials. Paganelli's father, Carl Sr., was a referee for college, XFL and NFL Europe football games.
