Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - The Carolina Hurricanes agreed to terms with
defenseman Joe Corvo on a one-year contract and goaltender Justin Peters on a
two-year pact Sunday.
Corvo appeared in 75 games for the Boston Bruins last season, recording four
goals, 21 assists and a plus-10 rating.
Over 643 career games with the Kings, Senators, Hurricanes, Capitals and
Bruins, the 35-year-old has amassed 83 goals, 200 assists and a plus-35
rating.
Peters, 25, went 2-3-2 with a .931 save percentage in seven games for Carolina
last year.
He has an 11-11-3 record with a .900 save percentage in 28 games over the last
three seasons for the Hurricanes.
