Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Jimmy Howard made 33 saves for his first shutout of the season to help Detroit snap a skid with a 4-0 win over Nashville.

Niklas Kronwall had a goal and two assists while Daniel Cleary, Drew Miller and Tomas Tatar all scored for the Red Wings, who broke a five-game losing streak.

Pekka Rinne gave up all four goals on 27 shots for the Predators, who have dropped four of their last five.
