BIG RAPIDS, MICH. - Even the Ferris State Bulldogs didn't expect to be coming back home to play again this season once they went down to Kansas last week to face Fort Hays State.
But they got it done against the Tigers and Harding knocked off GLIAC champ Ashland and the now the Bulldogs host their first December football game in school history.
The Bulldogs will host the Harding Bisons Saturday at Top Taggert Field.
With them will come the veer, triple option offense.
A set that the Bulldogs saw a little bit from when they played Northwood but not from a team that runs it as crisply as the Bison, piling up 350 rushing yards a game and 50 touchdowns on the season.
Good thing for the Bulldogs, their head coach Tony Annese is well versed in the offense, using it to terrorize West Michigan when he coached high school.
