EAST LANSING, MICH. - Rockford and East Grand Rapids' girl lacrosse teams know success. In Division 1, the Rams have won four straight state titles. That is only outdone by the Pioneers in Division 2 with their five straight state titles.
After Wednesday's semifinal games in East Lansing, the Rams and Pioneers will have a shot at another title for each.
Rockford beat Northville 22-4 in the late game after East Grand Rapids beat Farmington Hills Mercy, 16-3.
Now the Rams will play Birmingham in the Division 1 state title game Saturday at 4:30.
The Pioneers face Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood in the Division 2 game at 2 PM.
Both games are held at Brighton High School.
