13 On Your Sidelines: Vote for the week 6 MVP

Some West Michigan teams clinched a playoff spot last week due to some tremendous efforts on the football field.

WEST MICHIGAN - The playoff picture is coming into focus and conference titles are up for grabs.

Before moving on to week seven, we need your help to name our Week 6 Mercy Health On Your Sidelines Most Valuable Player of the Week.

And the nominees are …

Tanner Hallock - Forest Hills Central Hallock starred in the mud at Fifth Third Ballpark with 150 yards passing and two touchdowns and then 93 yards rushing and another touchdown as the Rangers beat Forest Hills Northern 25-0.

Zac Saltzgaber - Byron Center For the second straight week the senior gets a nomination. This week he put up 235 total yards and five total touchdowns as the Bulldogs took control of the OK-Green by beating undefeated Hamilton 54-32.

Hub Hejna - East Grand Rapids As the Pioneers beat Grand Rapids Christian 28-7. Hejna did his part with two touchdowns and 232 yards on the ground on 29 carries -- work horse status.

Voting will be open through 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016.
