13 On Your Sidelines: Vote for the week 9 MVP

13 OYSL Week 9 MVP candidates

WEST MICHIGAN - The regular season is in the books but before we turn our attention to the playoffs, we have to crown our Mercy Health 13 On Your Sidelines MVP for week 9.

David Thompson, Ravenna: Thompson made the move from QB to running back earlier in the year, but now he looks like a natural. He rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns, helping Ravenna rack up 418 yards of total offense in a 41-13 win over Grant.

Justin Zoett, Caledonia: Zoett was everywhere for the fighting Scotts. He ran for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Threw for 69 more yards, and added two interceptions on defense as Caledonia ended their season with a high scoring win over East Kentwood.

Chase Morello, Forest Hills Northern: Morelleo has been one of the best passers in west Michigan all season. The senior quarterback was 23 of 35 for 224 yards and a pair of scores. He also lead the Huskies with 54 yards rushing as they clinched a playoff spot for the 4th year in a row.

We'll announce the winner Friday night on 13 On Your Sidelines.
