ADA, MICH. - Grand Rapids Catholic Central came into Friday with a (3-0) record. Standing in their way of 4-0, was Forest Hills Eastern.
The Hawks coming in at (1-2) on the season were in search of evening their record to .500 as we hit the fourth week of the high school football season.
The Cougars put on an offensive display both passing and running the football. Jack Bauer, Antonio Strong and Michael Brown led the offense behind strong play from their offensive lineman.
After a 23-0 lead late in the first half G.R.C.C would pull away and take this one 44-7 to improve to (4-0) on the season The cougars are now 7-1 all-time versus F.H.E. Both teams get back to it on the gridiron next Friday when the Cougars welcome winless Spring Lake to Grand Rapids and Forest Hills Eastern looks to get back on the winning track when they welcome winless Middleville Thornapple Kellogg to town.
