GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Hudsonville earned a share of the OK Red title on Friday with a come from behind victory over Rockford. The Rams took a 7-0 lead into the half on a 2 yard Nick Isley touchdown run.
The game would stay that way into the fourth, until Quarterback Jack Mandryk would cut the lead to 7-6 with a 5 yard score with 10:46 left. Mandryk would put Hudsonville on top with 2:09 left in the game with an 11 yard scoring run. His two point conversion made the final score 14-7.
Mandryk finished the game with 160 yards rushing and an additional 108 passing to lead the Eagles. The Rams were led by Khale Showers who had 17 tackles.
Hudsonville and Rockford share the OK Red title with Grandville, with identical 5-1 records.
