Rockford avenges loss at Hudsonville in playoffs

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Hudsonville ended the regular season with a 14-7 win over Rockford to earn a share of the OK Red title. The two teams met again on Friday night in the first round of the MHSAA playoffs.

This time, things would go the Rams' way. Nick Isley flexed his muscle reaching the end zone a few times for Rockford, like he has all season long.

But the big story was Rockford's defense which held Hudsonville scoreless in the second half. They went on to win 24-7.
