GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - WZZM and Meijer are pleased to recognize Forest Hills Eastern High School senior Connor Sullivan as our Meijer Scholar Athlete of the Week for the week of January 28th.
Connor is a standout on the Forest Hills Eastern - Forest Hills Northern ice hockey team and was a member of the U15 national championship team from Grand Rapids in 2010. He tells WZZM he's been playing hockey since age three and loves the adrenaline rush he gets from playing.
Connor also stars for the FHE lacrosse team, serving as captain. Forest Hills Eastern was the state runner-up in lacrosse in 2012 as Connor was named all-state honorable mention.
An excellent student, Connor sports a 3.8 grade point average and tells us he is looking at attending the University of Oregon or the University of Denver and pursue a career in finance and economics.
