Recruiting: Michigan State nets commitments from DE twins from Ohio

EAST LASNING, MICH. - Michigan State football earned a pair of commitments for the class of 2018, coming out of the same household.

Olentangy (Ohio) defensive linemen and twins Jacob and Zachary Slade announced their commitment to MSU via Twitter on Sunday.

Jacob, 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, is listed as a strongside defensive end. 247Sports lists him as a two-star recruit and the No. 70 player out of Ohio.

Zachary, 6-4 and 240, is a weakside defensive end. He's also a two-star recruit and the No. 69 player out of the Buckeye State.

MSU now has 11 verbal commits for the class of 2018, seven of which from Ohio. The Slade twins are the second and third defensive linemen in the class.
