KENTWOOD, Mich. (WZZM)- East Kentwood High School student Christian Erwin is wrapping up a fantastic career in the water and an amazing career in the classroom. The senior has a 4.26 grade point average and is this week's WZZM 13 - Meijer Scholar Athlete of the Week.
Christian will compete with his Falcon teammates at the state finals this weekend in Holland. His real specialty is in water polo where he was named second-team all-state in 2009. Christian will attend Occidential University in Los Angeles on an 80 percent scholarship next year.
Away from school, Christian is an accomplished bass player and teaches middle school students how to play. Congratulations and continued success to Christian Erwin!
