Griffins get ready for game three

SYRACUSE, NY - The Grand Rapids Griffins are getting ready to bring the Calder Cup back to West Michigan.

The team is up 2-0 in their series against the Syracuse Crunch. And they have the chance to put their opponents on the ropes Wednesday, June 7.

Syracuse will host games three, four, and if necessary, game five of the series. But just because the Griffins are on the road, doesn't mean fans back home will have to miss out.

The American Hockey League is offering free streaming of every Calder Cup Finals game through its AHL Live service. Usually a pay service, AHL Live is running a promotion where you can use a code to get the games for free.

You'll need to create an AHL Live account. Don't worry, you don't have to enter any credit card information to get that far.

Once you do create an account, select the "Playoff All Access" package, valued at $64.99. You'll then be taken to a payment page, where you can enter the code FINALS17 for free access.

When the Griffins and Crunch begin playing, you'll be able to watch them live. And while you're waiting, you can also watch replays of previous games.

If you'd rather watch with a crowd and some appetizers, the downtown Grand Rapids Peppino's will continue holding watch parties for every away game during the playoffs.
