- MARSHALL, Mich. (Battle Creek Enquirer) -- Dark Horse Brewing Co. will soon join the ranks of military documentaries, truckers barreling down ice roads and other reality TV shows with its own program on the History Channel.
"Dark Horse Nation" will premier at 10 p.m. July 29, according to a description of the show posted at history.com.
According to the website, "Dark Horse Nation" will follow the crew of craft beer brewers at Dark Horse, 511 S. Kalamazoo Ave., led by owner Aaron Morse.
"Every week, there's some new project, from creating outlandish inventions to building additions to their ever-growing compound," the description said on the website.
Bill Morse, Head of Maintenance John Churchill, Head of Brewery Operations Bryan Wiggs and Head of Shipping and Receiving Ryan Chapman are also described on History's website.
According to Dark Horse's Facebook page, there will be a red carpet event, beginning at 7 p.m. July 29. Two large, outdoor screens will show the premiere episode of Dark Horse Nation at 10 p.m. The event is free.
According to darkhorsebrewery.com, the Marshall-made beer is available in 12 states. Its varieties include the full-time Crooked Tree IPA, Raspberry Ale, Special Reserve Black Ale, Amber Ale and Boffo Brown Ale, although there are over a dozen more to choose from.
