UPDATE: October 25, 4pm - A man now faces charges in connection with a murder case in Grand Rapids.

Thursday, 25 year old Thomas Albert-Earl Davis was charged with felony firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.

He is in jail on a $50,000 cash bond. He is also being held on a Federal Parole violation charge.

Police believe Davis is involved in the shooting death of 24 year old Terrance Bruce Williams. More details of this case are below.

October 21: GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- Grand Rapids Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man early Sunday morning.

Officers believe the shooting happened at S. Division Avenue and Franklin Street SE, in the parking lot shared by the Franklin Big Save and New York Chicken.

The 24-year-old victim arrived at Saint Mary's Health Care with very serious injuries around 3:45 a.m. Sunday. He was taken directly to surgery, but died at the hospital.

Police are withholding the victim's name while they contact his relatives.
