ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich.(WZZM) - West Michigan is full of Detroit Tigers fans, but few are as passionate and dedicated at Ted Wright of Ada.

"You could probably say I'm a fanatic," he says with a laugh.

After his day job as an electronics engineer in the aviation industry, Ted operates "Ted's Sports Cards and Collectables" in Ada.

He's a Detroit native who grew up a die-hard Tigers fan and his store is full of baseball cards, bobble heads souvenirs, scorecards and ticket stubs.

With the Tigers in the World Series, Ted is in his element.

"Oh, I'm a huge Tigers fan," he says. "I have such huge memories of going to games with my dad. I love baseball."

This summer for his birthday Ted's family bought himfour hours on the field at Comerica Park in Detroit taking batting practice, shagging fly balls and mingling with former Tigers.

"I felt like a little kid," he says.

Ted says he is going to Sunday's game at the ball park, the third time he's seen the Tigers in the World Series.

"I'm really looking forward to it. I was there in 1984 and 2006. To just be there at the World Series with my dad, it's going to be a real thrill for me."
